Denys Watkins-Pitchford

Denys Watkins-Pitchford was an English naturalist, author and illustrator. He usually wrote as "BB" and illustrated under his own name. His children's book, *The Little Grey Men,* about gnomes in the English countryside, won the 1942 Carnegie Medal.
