Doris Faber

Doris Greenberg was born in New York City. She attended Goucher College for two years and received a B. A. from New York University in 1943. In 1951 she married Harold Faber, a writer and editor for the New York Times. In the 1940s she spent eight years as a reporter for the New York Times, then left journalism to write books.
