Florida Scott-Maxwell

Florida Pier Scott-Maxwell was born in Orange Park, Florida, on September 24, 1883. She had lessons at home until she was ten, briefly attended public school in Pittsburgh, then went back to private lessons, and finally gave it all up to go on the stage at sixteen.
