Sir Basil Bartlett

Sir Basil Hardington Bartlett, 2nd Baronet was an actor. He started on the stage in the 1930s, then joined the British army to fight in World War II. In 1940, he published a memoir about his war experiences, called *My First War: An Army Officer's Journal*.
