Pierre Georges Lambert

P. G. L. Lambert was born in Issigeac, Dordogne, France in 1902, and died in Belgrade, Yugoslavia during a failed surgical procedure in 1961. He was the only son of a 108th infantry lieutenant (a captain killed in action against Germany in 1915) and of the local chemist-and-mayor's daughter.
