Upendra Pokhrel

Upendra Pokhrel was born on 7th May 1944 in Dhankuta, Nepal, to his parents Bidhyanath Pokhrel and Girija Kumari Pokhrel. He was a versatile writer who made contributions to the literary and theatrical scene in Nepal. In 1969, he achieved recognition as an author with the publication of his novel titled 'Mimi.'
