Wyatt Prunty

Eugene Wyatte Prunty was born in Humbolt, Tennessee and raised in Athens, Georgia. As a child, he and his two sisters spent their summers on his grandparents' farm in Tennessee. His father was Merle Charles Prunty, a geography professor at the University of Georgia. In 1969, Prunty received a B.A. degree from the University of the South.
