H. E. Hinton

Professor Howard Everest Hinton was raised in Mexico, where his father managed a silver mine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and his PhD in Entomology from the University of Cambridge. After graduating, he worked at the Natural History Museum in London, where most of his insect collection is currently housed.
