Geraldine Ryan-Lush

Geraldine Ryan Lush was born and raised in St. Joseph's, St. Mary's Bay, NL. She studied at St. Brides College, Littledale, and received a Bachelor of Arts and Education, Memorial University of Newfoundland, with a major in English Language and Literature. She taught school at several locations in NL/Labrador and Canada, becoming an internationally recognized author in 1992, with the publication of her first childrens' book, "Jeremy Jeckles Hates Freckles."
