John Burton Thompson

John Burton Thompson got his start in writing with Jack Woodford, author of hundreds of novels and at least two successful how-to-write fiction books. In The Loud Literary Llamas of New York, one of the how-two books, Woodford bragged that his publishers would print any manuscript bearing his name, regardless of its quality. Woodford closed Llamas with a call for unpublished manuscripts; John mailed Woodford three unpublished novels, and a literary partnership was born. -WikiTree
