The music was hot -- but would she get burned? Keri Lacey was enjoying moderate success as a director of music videos in Chicago. Then she took on the job of co-directing a video of a top rock-and-roll group, and before she knew it, her success had turned to trouble. Her collaborator on the project was Jon Ross, a man who both intimidated and attracted her. Soon after they'd met, disturbing things began to happen. Someone tried to break into Keri's warehouse studio. She was followed into a parking garage. Later, one of her tapes was stolen. Keri had no idea what was going on, but she suspected that somehow Jon was involved....
