Event planner Isabel Serranti is delighted when she is hired to put on an impromptu themed party for five hundred guests, at a country estate near her girlhood home, until she discovers that it is to be hosted by her infamous childhood nemesis Simon Monkwell, who turns out to have grown up into a man who is not the hateful oaf of her youth.
