Avengers 8

Robert McKinley, unhappy with the criminal justice system and its handling of his wife's and daughter's deaths, decides to take matters into his own hands. Using his almost limitless resources of money and connections, he sets out to create a team of avengers capable of carrying out his concept of justice. Formation of the team is left in the hands of his first two recruits. Kelly and Colin Keptra comb through dossiers of potential candidates, finally settling on the four most promising: Bay Berger, Scott Ali, Ron Phillips and Melissa Heintz. The candidates are chosen based upon the unique abilities they can bring to the team. They are later joined by Sasha Kerlinko, an unexpected but positive addition to the group.
