Quicksilver summer

Paddy Dempster is asked to look after one of her students during the holidays on a large sheep farm in the Australian Outback. She agrees willingly, seeing it as a way to recover from a broken heart. However, she is dismayed upon arrival to encounter the enigmatic farm owner, who has already implied that he has developed a poor opinion of her.
