The orchid

London, 1840: When Ava Miller's father died, she promised she would continue to run The Orchid Theatre and look after its close-knit family of actors. But when Henry Scott-Leigh, the son of the wealthy owner of the theatre, turns up one day threatening to replace Ava or close the unprofitable business altogether, the future looks bleak. Can Ava make a success of the next play and save everything she loves? And what will come of the growing attraction she and Henry share, when they inhabit such different worlds?
