Sobre este livro

Eden Thurston loses her dear father and tries to resume life with the help of longtime servants who are like family. Well-meaning friends and some not so well-meaning appear one after the other to try to comfort Eden or outright take her over. A burglary at the home alerts the family and their trusted lawyer. His wise assistant is indispensable to Eden also, and says a few brief but comforting words that help Eden to see more clearly the faith of her family and to take it for herself. Over time, Eden receives several unwanted marriage proposals and turns them down flat in order to work through her loss and help with nursing the old family butler, injured during a second burglary attempt. In the meantime, Eden's faith continues to grow as well as a special friendship with the lawyer's assistant. Desperate criminals and persistent suitors crowd Eden's way until her eyes are opened to a true love right in front of her.
