Tangled Shadows

It was eighteen months since Kathryn had separated from her husband Cesare, but now she had received some worrying news. It appeared he had been injured and lost his memory in an accident, and his family were suggesting that if she went back to Italy to meet him the sight of her might bring his memory back. She could hardly refuse - but what were the consequences likely to be? Cesare might well regain his memory - but it would be a memory of what had destroyed the marriage in the first place. And Kathryn had every reason to believe that Sophia Barzini was still very much a part of Cesare's life.
