Miyata spars with Nagumo Ryuji to test his ability to beat Ippo, or if Ippo is broken. Makunouchi Ippo returns to Kamogawa Boxing Gym after 1 month away from it. After passing a few test with his weights off, Kamogawa Genji tests Ippo inside the ring, and see how much Ippo's improved since then.
