His first ridiculous accusation--that she'd come to renew an old relationship with the owner of the next farm--took time to dispel. It was followed by the equally ridiculous one that Catherine was matchmaking. Lisa tried to concentrate on finishing her job and leaving. Only she didn't really want to leave--and somehow Brett's opinion of her had become important.
