This Final EIS addresses potential effects associated with the Bureau of Land Management's implementation of an oil and gas program in the Coastal Plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. The Coastal Plain is predominantly managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as part of that refuge. The decisions to be made as part of this Final EIS concern which areas of the Coastal Plain would be offered for oil and gas leasing, the terms and conditions to be applied to such leases, and authorizations for oil and gas activities.
