Maggie is in Prague on a Market Research project. But when a Russian tank rolls up outside her hotel, dashing all her plans, she decides to face the country's menacing and violent situation and drive towards the border. On the way, she acquires a passenger - a fugitive. Jan is a Czech archaeologist, carrying a valuable secret, ignorant of its significance or value. But when he eventually faces his enemies in Czechoslovakia, events prove more dramatic than he'd ever anticipated.
