Diana had married Jason Clarke in haste, in a whirlwind romantic haze, so perhaps the marriage was doomed to failure from the start. But she must be honest and admit that it was largely her fault that it had foundered so soon: she had made it clear to Jason that she didn't trust him. and she could hardly blame him when soon afterwards he had vanished out of her life. In an attempt to forget him. Diana had gone off to Ecuador with her father, and unbelievably, had met Jason again.
