This is the blub. Frustrated and lonely, the attractive Noggles deMilo wanted just one thing from life, companionship. Not an easy goal for a girl as strange and as complicated as she, yet an essential that might bring her in tune with the rest of mankind. She chose William Marlowe, an embittered colonist, hell-bent on revenge. Despite her own fickle moods, she snared him in her web of mysticism. But the war, so much a part of their lives, tore them apart, threw them to the opposite ends of the galaxy. With determination and tenacity, Noggles followed into the very heart of a non-human empire. Still the war kept them separated, thrusting on to their shoulders the fate of three civilizations, one human, two alien.
