Vereint Georges built a near mythical reputation as the supervillain Darkstar before retiring to a quiet life with his husband Warrick Tobias and their adopted daughter Melissa Kim. He focuses on giving Melissa a great childhood while both he and Warrick conceal Warrick's identity as the legendary superhero Blue Ice. Things eventually come to a head when Melissa displays her first metability and insists on joining the superhero lifestyle. Life is good for a while--near perfect--until disaster strikes. And Darkstar reemerges to enact his vengeance on those that hurt what he loves.
