Describes the career of Rabbi Gold, whose youth was shaped in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. He attended yeshivas Torah Vodaath, Ner Israel, Ponevezh and Ḥevron. Founder of Ner Israel in Toronto and B'nai Torah, Willowdale; later rabbi in Young Israel of West Hempstead 1971-1981, and Zichron Yosef, Har Nof, Jerusalem, as well as dean of the OU Israel Center's college for adults.
